It rained most of last night and this morning. I couldn't take POS out until I got the window back up. So, this morning, I went and got the crappy screwdriver from Molly and was out in my skirt trying to unscrew the door panel. I got it off...finally... (it wouldn't be as bad if I had decent tools...). Anyway, I propped the window back up with the block of wood, but I couldn't get the door panel back on. It just wouldn't line up right. Whatever.... I'll deal with it later....
I drove Molly up near her building and the window starts to fall again...rrrggh. And she can't get out. Apparently with no door panel, it's like child lock!!! Anyway, I go around and let her out and go to fix the window again. Yeah, this is a two person job. So there we are on the main street in campus, with the engine running and I get her to hold up the window while I jam the block of wood further back to hold it in place. So far so good....
So, I ordered the part(s) to fix the window. 2 weeks pay for just the parts alone. Lovely..... BUT, at least Boroko Motors was able to order the parts! Glass half full, glass half full, glass half full...
