Holy crap. I went to aerobics. As the Ladies of Lae like to call it, "Aerobics on Speed". No kidding. I had sweat dripping from places a girl should not sweat!!! I made it through (barely). Now I see why they can drink and not gain weight!!!
I told the girl running the show that she really should have t-shirts that say "I survived Lae Aerobics". Seriously, I've done aerobics in the past (WAY in the past, but still....) and by far, this was the most kick ass, full-on, sweat-a-flyin' aerobics ever. They should create a "How to Drink like and Expat and Still Maintain your Weight" DVD! It would totally be a best seller....
Anyway, I survived. I can rest until Tuesday night when I will torture myself again.... I will button my jeans again, I will button my jeans again, I will button my jeans again.....
Uh, they also have "Circuit" Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings (which I probably could go to with my schedule... hmmmm) and dance aerobics on Saturday mornings. That one is surely out of the question unless I just stay up all night! I'm going to start slow so I don't end up needing medivac'd out, but I think these ladies will get me in shape. Bring it on!!!
