I Google Myself

A new guy to Lae, Aaron, pretty much told me after he found my blog, he google stalked me searched my name.  Hmmm, okay, it's been a while...  time to google myself...

Name combinations, email addresses, log-in names, yep... all sorts of stuff came up - my professional website, linkedin, facebook, the twitter account I deleted, old uni stuff, etc, etc, etc.  But the funnest thing I found was at ratemyprofessors.com where I had a review (hmm.. I wonder how much I marked off papers for spelling errors??):
Ms. Garland is the BOMB!!!!! She makes her class fun, interesting and easy to follow. Very assesible and approachable. Going to miss her when my class ends, wish all instructors were like her. I highly recommend her for a instructor!!!!!!
5/5 Overall quality, 5/5 Helpfulness, 5/5 Clarity, 5/5 Easiness (hmmm... well, it was Intro to Business) and, uh.... hotness factor?  Yes, on this website you get to check whether your professor was hot or not.  Lovely... (ha ha ha, snicker snicker snicker, snort...)

I then searched for all the other classes I taught at various colleges and universities... nada.  Well, at least I don't have a lone sucky review.  I guess my self google stalking could have turned up worse results.  I'll take this one - hotness factor and all... rofl...

I didn't "Stalk you" I was looking for a Gymnasium in Lae, you name came up on an ex-pat web site, I then cross referenced all your postings, used a search engine to data mine all your details, then crossed referenced that against known CIA operatives (no go there), so when that that failed, I just asked one of the locals. The Won Tok system (PNG for: I know who you are before you arrived in the country system) works better that any search engine I've ever used. 8-) Aaron.

I wrote the story myself. It's all about a girl who lost her reputation but never missed it. Ta, Mae West!
