This isn't a flooded village, it's a floating village.... families and merchants who live on houseboats off Tonle Sap Lake. They have woman selling their wares on floating stores and even have a schoolhouse and fish farm. When the water goes down, they move the village out onto the Tonle Sap, and then move it back when the rains come.
